Blue Bloods is coming to an end after 14 seasons, leaving fans wondering what the future holds for Tom Selleck. According to reports, the 78-year-old actor intends to take an extended break and disappear off the grid for a while.

Selleck, known for his appearances in Magnum, P.I., and Friends, is preparing to say goodbye to Commissioner Frank Reagan and television screens for the time being.

What Will Tom Selleck Do After Blue Bloods..?

Tom Selleck, star of “Blue Bloods,” is rumored to retire from acting to spend more time with his wife on their avocado ranch in California. After owning the property, previously Dean Martin’s, Selleck looks forward to outdoor activities and family time.

He’s known for enjoying hands-on work on his estate. This decision echoes his past departure from Hollywood after “Magnum, P.I.,” seeking a more balanced life. With the series ending, Selleck can fully embrace this lifestyle change.

When Will Blue Bloods’ Final Season Premiere…?

In the midst of Tom Selleck’s rumored plans to return to California full-time, CBS has revealed when fans will say goodbye to Blue Bloods.

Following an extended hiatus from the series due to the WGA writers strike and SAG-AFTRA actors strike that lasted much of 2023, Season 14 will return on February 16, 2024, with the entire season airing in two parts, the second of which will air in the fall of 2024.

  1. Tom should consider another episode of Jessie Stone, with the same score of Jeff Beal, and an ending that will be amazing for this legend. If he does not do this, then he should take a look at Jonathan Kellerman’s novels about Alex Deleware, there are over 20 of them, maybe condense a number of them into one great one!
Tom was not my favorite actor as Magnum PI, but he has proved to be one of the most handsome leading man, who shows love, emotions, and caring for people, especially in the Jesse Stone and Blue Bloods characters! LOVE HIM!

  2. Old comments from 2 months or more! His most recent states he was more than willing to continue. This is just Executives trying to feed us Bull to cover themselves!
