Brace yourselves, NCIS fans-things are about to get intensely personal. In a recent interview, Diona Reasonover, who plays the beloved forensic scientist Kasie Hines, revealed that the Season 22 finale will rock the team like never before. With emotions running high and personal lives colliding with professional duties, viewers are in for a finale that promises to be unforgettable.
Reasonover hinted at a powerful shift for her character, saying the final episode of the season will dive deep into Kasie’s world-and it won’t just be about lab results. “The team is really shaken to its core,” she shared. “Kasie is at the center of something big. It’s personal, it’s emotional, and it’s going to surprise a lot of people.”
Having joined NCIS in Season 15 as Abby Sciuto’s successor, Reasonover has carved out her own place in the squad with Kasie’s perfect blend of sharp wit, fierce intelligence, and heartfelt compassion. Over the years, she’s become a fan favorite, and this season, viewers may finally get to see a new, more intimate side of her character.
While the show is keeping most plot twists tightly under wraps, Reasonover teased that the finale could explore Kasie’s romantic life-an area fans have long been curious about. Earlier season discussions hinted at introducing online dating into Kasie’s storyline, and it looks like that thread might finally come into play.
With the team facing major upheaval and Kasie possibly opening her heart in unexpected ways, the Season 22 finale is shaping up to be one of the most emotionally charged episodes yet. As NCIS continues to evolve and explore new dimensions of its characters, one thing is clear: fans should expect the unexpected.
Stay tuned-Kasie’s next chapter could change everything.
Kasie was without a doubt, the start of a slippery downhill slope for the show.
Her DEI inclusion, incessant buzzing around the Bullpen, the Morgue and even on some crime scenes was straight up annoying. She simply had to be on camera at every opportunity. Along with her (and Jimmys) weird take on comedy turning the show into not much more than a kids show.
This is why Abby was so much better, you hardly ever saw her out of her lab… but you certainly felt her presence at every moment. And the same goes for Ducky. They simply did their jobs, and did them well.
