Is Pauley Perrette, the star of NCIS, married..?
No, Pauley Perrette is not married right now, but she did previously marry Canadian musician and producer Francis “Coyote” Shivers in 2000.
She filed for divorce four years later, and the divorce was finalized two years later.
She obtained a permanent restraining order against her ex-husband in 2018, claiming on CBS’s 48 Hours that he never stopped stalking her.
Restraining orders, according to Perrette, “can only do so much.”
Perrette’s marriage to Shivers did not put an end to her love life, as she became engaged on two separate occasions.
After four years of dating, the ex-NCIS star proposed to cameraman Michael Bosman in 2008.
Their relationship, however, was short-lived, as they split shortly after Bosman proposed.
She did, however, rekindle her romance with actor and former British Marine Thomas Arklie, who proposed in 2011.
Perrette vowed at the time that she would not marry for a very worthy cause.
She tweeted that she and Arklie would not marry until the right to marry in California was made legal for all people, regardless of sexual orientation.
“Me & #MyMarine are totally engaged now but will NOT GET MARRIED UNTIL #Prop8 is OVER!” Perrette tweeted. (sic)
Despite the fact that the law was passed in the US state in June 2014, the couple did not marry.
Perrette and Arklie are thought to have split up in late 2016 or early 2017.
Those who follow the 53-year-old actress are aware that she is now content with her single life.
Perrette stated in 2019 that she would be embracing her life as a single woman, with no desire to marry anytime soon, if at all.
“I decided to be celibate and single for life,” she tweeted. The best decision I’ve ever made.
“Is there anyone else?” I have my doubts. There is no condemnation. It’s just good for me.”
Fans of Perrette will be disappointed to learn that she will not be appearing on screen anytime soon.
Following her departure from NCIS, she starred in the CBS sitcom Broke, which was cancelled after only one season.
Perrette announced in 2020 that she would be officially retiring from acting.
