NCIS has officially been renewed for season 24 following the dramatic end of season 23, which included the show’s milestone 500th episode and several major story developments.
While an exact premiere date has not been announced, the new season is expected to debut on CBS in October 2026, following the same release pattern as previous seasons.
Most of the main cast is expected to return, including Gary Cole as Alden Parker, Katrina Law as Jessica Knight, Sean Murray as Timothy McGee, Wilmer Valderrama as Nick Torres, Brian Dietzen as Jimmy Palmer, and Diona Reasonover as Kasie Hines.
However, Rocky Carroll is not expected to return as Leon Vance after the character’s shocking death during season 23. Any future appearances would likely be limited to flashbacks.
The NCIS franchise itself continues to expand, with NCIS: Origins and NCIS: Sydney both returning for new seasons, while a new spin-off, NCIS: New York, is also set to premiere later this year.
A trailer for season 24 has not yet been released.
