As he has been on the show since it first started, Harmon was made an Executive Producer on NCIS.
This means not only does he portray one of the key characters in the series, he gets to have a say in the storylines and what gets filmed.
Harmon works as an Executive Producer for both NCIS as well as spin-off series NCIS New Orleans.
The spin-off show will be returning for a seventh season but a release date has not yet been announced.
According to Celebrity Net Worth and The Richest, Mark Harmon has a net worth of somewhere between $90 and $100 million (£72,697,900 and £80,100,000).
This shouldn’t come as too much of a surprise considering how he has been working since the 70s in a number of big shows and films and now working as an Executive Producer as well.
The Observer reports how Harmon is paid a staggering $525,000 (£420,572) per episode of NCIS.
He was also named as the fifth highest-paid actor in television by Forbes a couple of years ago.
The publication said he raked in $19 million (£15,227,360) for his work on the CBS series between June 2017 and June 2018.
He came just after the main cast of The Big Bang Theory in the Forbes list.
Given how the series will be having yet another series, Harmon’s net worth is bound to continue rising over the next few years.
