NCIS: Los Angeles: Why Are Fans Concerned About Eric Christian Olsen..?

blank

Eric Christian Olsen, star of “NCIS: Los Angeles,” played a cruel prank on his fans over the New Year, but in his defense, they should have paid attention to the hashtags.

Before the January 9 episode, “A Land of Wolves,” Olsen wrote on Instagram, “We about to get back into it,” alongside a photo of himself as Marty Deeks. He also included several hashtags, such as “#Kensidown” and “#thefinalseason?” Fans will undoubtedly be sh0ck3d. But if you keep reading, you’ll notice the obvious tag “jk.”

All part of our favorite goofy guy’s elaborate joke. “MacGyver,” “Hawaii Five-0,” and “NCIS: New Orleans” were among the shows Olsen tagged with the hashtags “celebratewhatwehave” and “embracethejourney.” All canceled shows that take place in the “NCIS” universe (“MacGyver is a little iffy, but “Five-0” and “NOLA” definitely do.)

Olsen’s cryptic message is trying to tell us to appreciate what we have while we have it. Fans, enjoy “NCIS: Los Angeles” while you can because you never know when it will end. But don’t worry, “NCIS: LA” is still going strong after 13 seasons. It has persevered despite a slew of personnel changes in the previous season. This season’s stakes are high, things are becoming more personal, and fans are loving it.

With the original “NCIS” running for 19 seasons, I don’t see “NCIS: Los Angeles” falling short of that mark. Even with its stars leaving ominous messages in their hashtags about the show’s demise, I don’t think it’ll happen anytime soon. It’s on a clear path to success, and it’s been for the past 12 years, getting better and better with each passing year.

Eric Christian Olsen, star of ‘NCIS: Los Angeles,’ hilariously recaps previous characters.

In another Instagram post, the “NCIS: Los Angeles” star shared a fan-created video of himself in previous roles. His caption, on the other hand, says it all. He captioned the video with the following hilarious numbered list:

1. I apologize for arriving late to the party, but to be honest, I didn’t know there was one.” Nobody ever called me.

2. This is visual proof that I didn’t reach puberty until I was 32.

3. My mother may have been correct in advising me to get that haircut sooner.

4. For reference, Harry Styles was about 6 years old when I played Austin in Not Another Teen Movie.

5. “Many thanks to @ericchristianolsenfans and @densi.pops.in.la for this archeological dig through the vast World Wide Web and for this wonderful trip down memory lane!”

He’s played a variety of roles over the years, and he’s been fantastic in each of them. Fans adore him as Marty Deeks on “NCIS: Los Angeles,” but he’s played so many other characters throughout his career that it’s difficult to pick a favorite. Lloyd Christmas in the “Dumb and Dumber” prequel wins hands down for me.
