The return of LL Cool J to NCIS: Hawai’i has stirred interest, but it looks he may not be the only familiar face making a return.
CBS made the choice to end the LA spinoff due to budget constraints. This, however, may pave the door for the return of other well-known characters in addition to LL Cool J’s Sam Hanna.
Daniela Ruah, well known for her role as Kensi Blye on NCIS: Los Angeles, could make a return.
With the veteran series’ financial restraints no longer an issue, it’s possible that fan-favorite characters will reappear in the Hawaiian offshoot.
Daniela Ruah has indicated interest in repeating her part in NCIS: Hawai’i in a statement as recently as July.
This prospective comeback adds an exciting layer to the forthcoming season, as fans eagerly await the unfolding narrative and potential crossovers, providing continuity for favorite characters in this new chapter of the NCIS series.
