Iconic NCIS star Michael Weatherly recently dropped exciting news about the highly anticipated Tony and Ziva spin-off. In celebration of the franchise’s upcoming 1000th episode, Weatherly revealed juicy details about the spin-off, affectionately dubbed NCIS Europe.
The spin-off is planned to begin production later this year in Budapest, with prospective locations in other European cities. Filming is set to begin in the summer of 2024, and the series is expected to premiere on Paramount Network+ in late 2024 or early 2025.
Executive produced by Weatherly and Cote de Pablo, the 10-episode series follows the former agents as they navigate parenthood while facing global threats. Weatherly humorously quipped, “What could go wrong?” as he hinted at the chaos to come.
