Fans of Blue Bloods Are Adoring Frank’s Storyline in Season 13-Episode 16

Tom Selleck has previously stated that “Blue Bloods” would be a very different show if it aired in the 1980s.

This most likely means that his character, Commissioner Frank Reagan, would not have had to deal with a revealing online scandal within the department, as was the case in Episode 16, Season 13, (“The Naked Truth”), which fans adored.

In the entry, Frank is forced to choose whether a good cop should keep her job despite the fact that she also makes money by posing in nude photos for online viewers.

But it turns out that Officer Carlie Gillson (Sofia Vassilieva) isn’t posting the steamy photos for money or attention, but rather to care for her sick mother. The officer’s retention on the force divides the force, but Frank ultimately decides to forbid her from quitting.

The thrilling arc received a warm welcome from fans. “I loved the Frank Storyline,” u/Zaiah_black wrote on Reddit.

Those are beginning to feel like the best of the season. If it is not unlawful. Nobody cares what you do on the side when you’re not working as a cop.

Who cares if it doesn’t affect her job?” In a tweet, @Sportsinthings1 praised both the episode and Frank’s reasoning, writing, “Frank not firing Gillson was the right call.” What she does in her spare time is her business, which is a fantastic episode of BlueBloods.” @Dueler32 agreed, writing, “Wow.

Frank made a significant decision there.” They weren’t the only ones who felt strongly about how this sensitive issue was handled.

Frank received a lot of praise online for his nude photo policing policy.

While the episode’s subject matter may have been a little risque for “Blue Bloods” fans and may have left some people feeling uneasy about how it all went down with Frank and the naked pictures, some didn’t seem to mind the long-running CBS series taking on that kind of subject matter. “The OnlyFans expy did not bother me, as I happen to agree that we tend to be way too prudish in America on those things,” u/Isosceles_Kramer79 wrote in a Reddit discussion.

Others shared their thoughts, such as u/MikeARadio, who said, “I actually loved the Frank storyline and the way it ended.” What you do in your spare time is your business…. It’s actions like Frank’s that will help change the rules in a changing world. “As his children said at the table.” Many “Blue Bloods” fans appear to agree with Frank’s point of view.

Others, however, went a step further, claiming that there should be no need for such heartfelt justifications for engaging in such online activities. “I wish they hadn’t thrown in the thing about how she was doing it for her sick mother or whatever,” u/lifeinwentworth wrote. Why can’t she just want to make enough money to live and be respectful of others? Why is it only acceptable if there is a serious ‘justification,’ such as a sick relative?”

It’s clear that “The Naked Truth” has raised some intriguing questions and realizations about the situation. However, not every fan felt the same way.

Not everyone agreed that Frank made the correct decision.

While it was clear that many people enjoyed Frank Reagan’s storyline and the episode as a whole, others had a very different reaction to “The Naked Truth.” There is a strong sense of resentment toward the eye-opening narrative, centered on their dissatisfaction with the path they chose with Frank.

“It wasn’t what I expected Frank to say, but then I realized the writers were trying to make him seem more mainstream,” one Reddit user wrote. “I rolled my eyes when the subject was broached and had a feeling they’d turn it into a thing and try to normalize it because it’s Hollywood,” wrote u/Wonderful-Problem777.

It’s so stupid, and it’s completely out of character for Francis to act like that.” “Part of me was sh0cked that they went the direction they did, and another part of me expected it,” the same user later said in the discussion. It didn’t ruin the show for me or anything, but it did irritate me.”

While his overall decision is debatable, there is no denying that dealing with these issues is not an easy task. Fortunately, “Blue Bloods” has been renewed for a 14th season, so fans will have plenty more of his decisions to discuss.
