Tom Selleck must be desperate to maintain his avocado ranch.
The Calleguas Municipal Water District in Ventura County is suing the Blue Bloods actor for allegedly stealing “truckloads of water from a public hydrant” and hauling it to his 60-acre avocado plantation.
With California suffering from a serious drought, this could spell disaster for the man with the notorious mustache.
According to reports, the district paid a private investigator about $22,000 to document the alleged cr1mes.
They appear to date back two years!
The complaint was filed on June 30, just days after California residents were required to reduce their water consumption by 25%. Selleck has yet to respond to the allegations.
