The 2023 TV schedule feels lighter than usual this fall, thanks to production halts caused by strikes, leaving viewers excited for the return of cherished shows like Blue Bloods.

To fill the gap, CBS is turning to its loyal audience for assistance. Instead of new episodes, the network will air vintage Blue Bloods episodes on Fridays at 10 p.m. ET, starting September 29.

But here’s where fans step in: From August 31 to September 8, viewers can vote on their favorite episodes from the show’s history. The top 10 vote-getters will be featured weekly, with the fan favorite episode airing last.

The ten contenders span the series’ ten-year run, offering a mix of captivating cases and poignant family moments. From Season 1’s “The Blue Templar” to Season 12’s “Be Smart or Be Dead,” each episode was handpicked by CBS based on memorable character arcs, notable introductions, and standout performances.

While some fans may have hoped for a preview of Season 13, the selected episodes promise to keep viewers interested as they wait for new content. Plus, Season 13 is now available for viewing on Paramount+, making it easy to catch up on recent events.

Amidst rumors about star Tom Selleck’s work dynamics, the show’s return date remains uncertain. However, CBS’s decision to renew for Season 14 brings relief to fans, especially after other shows faced drastic cutbacks.

Whether voting on Facebook or binge-watching on Paramount+, Blue Bloods fans can stay connected to their favorite show this fall. So grab your remote and vote – the Reagan family is waiting!

  1. All of these are good choices. I would especially like to see the episode where Linda passed away. I’m watching reruns now BUT, so few are available to watch for free. Could this window not be opened up for more seasons that are free to watch? I watched the episode last night where Linda was kidnapped. That one was especially good. Thank you for the opportunity to have a say in this!

  2. It’s so disappointing to hear this program is becoming reduced to, just reruns. Your stars who are well seasoned, are extremely talented actor and actresses who each have brought this program to its level great respect and demonstrated the challenges New York Police face each day on the job at all levels within their departments. Each episode has always been exciting to watch unfold. Now watching reruns has taken that away from it audience.
In turn the ratings will soon fall rapidly and be of no interest to watch any more. A very sad decision indeed to throw away what has proved to be an awesome television series, relevant to your viewers.

  3. I faithfully watch Blue Bloods and look forward to new returns. The cast are all great but my favorite parts are the family dinners. I hope they will continue.

  4. An incredible show and cast. The writers are top notch and I truly hope they are treated fairly with their new contract. Never disappointed watching your wonderful show every week. Episodes 1, 7, and 8 would certainly be fun to see again.

  5. I have enjoyed Blue Bloods for a very long time. I have been a fan of Tom Selleck since Magnum days and have enjoyed Lou also on Murder She Wrote I also enjoy Donny Walberg. Actually I enjoy all the actors and the show very much and would hate to see it end.
