CBS Has Officially Canceled Blue Bloods: Season 14 will Conclude the Series in 2 Parts

The series “Blue Bloods” is coming to an end.

It’s time to bid farewell to the Reagans. According to Deadline, CBS’ “Blue Bloods” will end after Season 14.

The final season will be split into two parts, the first of which will premiere in February 2024. The first installment will consist of ten episodes.

Part two will conclude with eight episodes and will run on CBS in the fall of next year. “Blue Bloods” will complete its decade-plus run with a shortened final season of 18 episodes.

‘Blue Bloods,’ created by ‘Sopranos’ veterans Robin Green and Mitchell Burgess, has been a CBS staple since 2010.

The cop show, which stars Tom Selleck, Bridget Moynahan, and Donnie Wahlberg, covers the Reagan family’s long history in New York law enforcement, blending procedural thrills and emotions.

The series, a fan favorite, is coming to an end after more than a decade of popularity.

Following the uncertainty caused by the 2023 strikes, CBS grants ‘Blue Bloods’ a final season to complete its legacy.

According to a statement from CBS management, the series, which has been a popular part of CBS’s roster since its debut in 2010, will have the opportunity to wind off its tale with grace.

  1. Blue Bloods is the ONLY show I look forward to watching. I can’t believe CBS is taking it off the air. It is a great crime show without the blood ,guts and gore some of the other shows have. (EX: Criminial Minds) and a few others. Even a lot of movies on TV are gory, old nothing new or interesting . We pay so much for TV stations that we donn’t even watch. I have to think of another alternative. I hope with the fan base BB has that CBS will reconsider.

  2. Shame on you, CBS. Some of us want to watch a quality show instead of yet another “reality” piece of junk.

  3. Will miss this great show with all of my favorite actors and one without the f word being used many times in every sentence. Also will miss the family dinners and the importance of religion in their lives. Thanks for all of the wonderful time together! Love and prayers for each of you!

  4. I’m not sure if it just CBS .Tom is getting up there would probably like to spend some more time at home.Another network would pick it up if it was just CBS choice and the players wanted to continue.I will hate it to go off the air it’s my favorite show on television.

  5. Watching Blue Bloods is the highlight of my week and I am so sad to see it end. I do believe that the dedicated fans really deserve some sort of explanation as to why it is ending.

    • My understanding is the actors took a cut in pay to give the show one more year.
I would hope they end the show with respect to the characters.

  6. Blue bloods is such a fantastic show. Shame on CBS for canceling this great family show. After it goes off the air so will I won’t watch CBS no longer.

  7. This is my all time favorite show!! I feel like these people are part of my family! I look forward to this every Friday! It really saddens me that I’m losing a huge part of our family!! The cast is phenomenal! Please reconsider this for millions of people feel the same.

  8. This is really sad. Blue Bloods is one show that still has valve. CBS is making a huge mistake especially with some of the “crap” programs they are continuing to promote.

  9. Why do they cancel the good shows and keep the stupid reality shows on ? This is one show I watch faithfully every week. Dumb move cbs. Dumb
