Nicky Reagan-Boyle has been a part of Blue Bloods from its inception. She first appeared in Season 1 and has gone through numerous transformations throughout the series.
She has not only grown older, but she has also attended college and established herself as a character other than Erin Reagan’s (Bridget Moynahan) child.
However, Nicky is a minor character on the program, and the speculations that have swirled about the show ahead of season 14 have primarily been around the idea that specific characters will be eliminated off the show in order to keep the budget of each episode as low as possible. Is Nicky going to be one of the casualties?
Is Sami Gayle quitting Blue Bloods..?
Great news for Blue Bloods fans! Despite recent rumors, Sami Gayle is not quitting the show. Thanks to the generosity of stars like Tom Selleck and Donnie Wahlberg, who took wage cuts, the entire cast and crew are staying put for season 14. While Gayle’s character, Nicky, had a limited role recently due to her personal commitments, the show’s creator is eager to bring her back. With Gayle still pursuing acting opportunities, there’s hope we’ll see Nicky return for some family dinners in the upcoming season. Stay tuned for more updates!
