Where Is Blue Bloods Star Tony Terraciano After His Brother Andrew’s Recasting in the Boston Blue Spinoff?

Tony Terraciano and Andrew Terraciano grew up on screen as Jack and Sean Reagan, the sons of Danny Reagan on Blue Bloods. With the spinoff Boston Blue recasting Sean, fans have been wondering what happened to the original actors-especially Jack.
Donnie Wahlberg played Danny Reagan, whose sons were portrayed by the Terraciano brothers throughout much of the original series. While viewers watched both boys grow up, Boston Blue introduced a major change: Sean is now played by Mika Amonsen.
Andrew Terraciano addressed the recasting in a December 2025 interview, sharing that Wahlberg personally reached out to him with support. He expressed gratitude for his years on Blue Bloods, saying he was proud to have played Sean and happy to pass the role on.
Andrew is currently pursuing his master’s degree while staying connected to acting, recently helping produce a short film and remaining open to future roles-especially in Star Wars or sitcoms.
As for Jack Reagan, Tony Terraciano has stepped away from acting entirely. His appearances on Blue Bloods declined after he began attending Vanderbilt University in 2018.
He graduated in 2022 after studying neuroscience, went on to medical school, and is on track to earn his Doctor of Medicine in 2026. Tony has not appeared in new projects or commented publicly on any return to the franchise.
While Boston Blue moves forward with changes, the Reagan sons’ paths reflect two very different-but equally impressive-journeys beyond Blue Bloods.
