Blue Bloods fans are in for a bittersweet celebration as the show’s final season finally airs, following delays due to strikes last year.
Tom Selleck, the show’s renowned star, reflected on the “Honor and Privilege” of working on the legendary CBS drama for the previous 13 years, thanking the cast and crew.
Despite the cancellation being shocking to both fans and Tom, who believed the show was more popular than ever, he thanked viewers for joining them “for dinner every Friday night”.
Season 14 will follow a slightly different schedule, with weekly episodes and the second part arriving in the fall. The multi-generational drama, starring Tom Selleck’s distinctive mustache, has been a primetime classic since 2010.
