‘NCIS’: This Is Where You Recognize Emily Fornell from

“NCIS” was one of the most popular shows of its era. It has been on CBS for over two decades, with Mark Harmon recently leaving the show after nearly a decade as the show’s host. However, the show was in good hands after he was replaced by legendary actor Gary Cole. Because the program has been running for so long, a large number of people have had to appear over the years. Emily Fornell, played by Juliette Angelo, was one of those people who appeared in two episodes. If you’re wondering where you’ve seen Emily Fornell before, look no further.

Angelo did, in fact, later appear in a slew of big-time shows. Since leaving “NCIS,” she has appeared on “Mad Men,” “Shameless,” and “11.22.63.”

Mark Harmon’s Wife Makes an Appearance on ‘NCIS’

Pam Dawber finally appeared as a guest star on “NCIS” before Harmon left the show. It took a long time, but it happened late in his CBS broadcast run.

“The show has been on for a hundred years, and they have come at me a few times,” she told EW. Either I didn’t want to do it or I didn’t understand what they wanted me to do. Or it was close to Christmas and you were like, “I can’t do this.” My parents are coming to town.” I just haven’t been interested in pursuing the business. That’s what you do at this age. You’d have to be really desperate for it. “I just don’t want to put myself out there any longer.”

It had to be the right role for her. There were always other reasons why it couldn’t work out.

“You know the old song, “I don’t have time for the pain,” she concluded. Then I suppose they made up this character Marcie. Mark didn’t tell me anything about it. “Oh, poor Harry, my poor agent, here we go again,” I thought as I received an email from my agent. I’m going to decline him.” “Well, you might want to read this,” he says. They were probably brainstorming names for who they could bring in for it when Mark said, “You should be talking to my wife about this character.” The character is fantastic. I was completely smitten by what they wrote. Then I got nervous, like, “Oh my God, am I going to do this?”

That’s how it all came together. After all that time, they finally found the right part for her, which worked out for both her and Mark. All new episodes of “NCIS” can be found on CBS.
