According to NCIS spoilers, Meredith Eaton will return as Carol Wilson later in Season 19.
There are now a few more details available, including the episode in which she will appear.
This all comes back to the announcement that actor Brian Dietzen would be writing an episode of NCIS in the future.
Dietzen (who plays Dr. Jimmy Palmer) has shared a key photo on social media that ties everything together.
When will Meredith Eaton return to the NCIS cast?
Meredith Eaton, who plays Carol Wilson on NCIS, will reprise her role in Season 19, Episode 13.
Carol, if you don’t remember her from NCIS, was a researcher at the Centers for Disease Control and an old college friend of NCIS Forensic Scientist Abigail Sciuto.
Star Pauley Perrette (Abby) stated at the time that Meredith Eaton was her real-life best friend, so they had a lot of fun on set together.
Eaton first appeared in a 2009 episode called Faith, later returned for a 2011 NCIS episode called Devil’s Triangle and a 2013 episode called Homesick, and then appeared in a 2014 episode of NCIS: New Orleans called Carrier.
“Every now and then, you get to write something for television.” And sometimes that means getting to see friends you haven’t seen in a long time.
@themereaton, I’m so glad you’re here! “#NCIS,” Brian Dietzen captioned an Instagram photo of himself and Eaton on set.
What is the significance of Carol Wilson’s reappearance on NCIS?
“With the team desperately in need of an expert immunologist, who better to come and save the day than Meredith’s beloved ‘Carol Wilson?'” “The only real question is whether she will arrive on time.” TV Insider recently spoke with executive producer Steven D. Binder.
The episode’s setup sounds intriguing, while also hinting at someone on the NCIS cast being in danger.
NCIS’s upcoming winter premiere is Season 19, Episode 10, which means there will be a few more new episodes before Carol Wilson’s episode airs this winter/spring. As a reminder, Dietzen wrote Episode 13, in which Carol will make a reappearance.
And don’t worry, NCIS fans, because when we get closer to CBS airing that new episode, it’s a safe bet that there will be a lot of promotion to ensure that everyone tunes in to see what happens.
