NCIS Los Angeles Finale Sneak Peek Confirms Kensi and Deeks’ Lethal Mission As the Op Goes Wrong

The NCIS LA finale could turn d3adly for Kensi and Deeks as they track down cr1minals in search of stolen military-grade weapons.

The penultimate episode of season 14 of NCIS Los Angeles will air on Sunday.

The critically acclaimed CBS drama will conclude its 14-season run this month with the season finale.

NCIS LA was canceled in January, according to Deadline, due to the drama’s high cost rather than a drop in viewership.

Although the news upset many viewers, many are looking forward to the procedural ending on a high note.

In addition to Callen’s (Chris O’Donnell) and Anna Kolchek’s (Bar Paly) long-awaited wedding, a sneak peek clip hinted at major danger for Kensi Blye (Daniela Ruah) and Marty Deeks (Eric Christian Olsen).

A worried Admiral Hollace Kilbride (Gerald McRaney) introduced the cr1me-fighting couple to AFT Agent Newsome.

“I hear we’ll be your overwatch,” Kensi inquired. “Yeah, I’ve got no idea if my cover’s been blown,” Newsome replied.

Admiral showed them a satellite view of the location for their undercover mission after she reassured the agent.

“The house is secured and isolated here in Malibu Canyon,” he explained, pointing to the screen. “You ought to be able to find some cover and high ground here and here.”

Although the Admiral was relieved to learn Deeks was familiar with the area, he issued a stern warning to his agents.

“We don’t know much about him except that there are ten bodies linked to him.”

He then addressed the ATF agent, saying, “So, no cowboy stuff.” Agent Newsome, if you suspect your cover has been compromised, alert Kensi and Deeks and kit the decks.

“I don’t need a d3ad ATF agent on my watch,” said the Admiral.

Kilbride exhaled a loud sigh of relief as the agents approached the Malibu location, fully armed.

Although Kensi and Deeks have previously taken on dangerous missions and successfully closed a case, Kilbride’s nervousness suggests that this task may be an exception.

“When an ATF agent goes missing, the bureau seeks help from the NCIS team to investigate stolen military-grade weapons and locate the agent,” according to the synopsis for New Beginnings Part One.

“Also, Callen and Anna continue to plan their wedding, Rountree’s sister interviews for medical school, and Sam encourages his father to take part in the drug trial.”
