Daniela Ruah, an NCIS: LA actor, posted a touching message on social media to celebrate her daughter’s milestone birthday.
Daniela Ruah, star of NCIS: Los Angeles, took to Instagram to celebrate the seventh birthday of her daughter Sierra Esther.
On Monday, the former NCIS: LA actress uploaded a photo of herself looking down at Sierra as they both affectionately smiled at each other on Instagram.
Sierra Esther placed her arm over her mother’s back as the mother-daughter duo sat on the window sill of a wooden playhouse.
Daniela, 39, wore denim shorts with a casual black v-neck shirt, while her daughter wore a tiny floral romper.
In another photo, Daniela showed her husband, David Paul Olsen, strolling hand in hand with Sierra and their second child, River, 10, whom they share.
In addition to the adorable photos, the Portuguese actress added a lengthy post to convey her love for her daughter on her birthday.
“We couldn’t be happier or more proud of this youngster. “Our youngest cub turned 7 today, and we celebrated with love over the weekend,” she continued.
Before adding, “May you continue to work extremely hard in everything you do, and may life always smile upon you.”
“Happy birthday to this incredible little girl that we’re lucky to call ours, and raise.” Then there were multiple heart emojis.
Daniela’s tweet drew hundreds of responses from her fans and followers, many of whom also wished Sierra a “Happy Birthday.”
This isn’t the first time the CBS star has celebrated a significant milestone for her children this week.
Daniela posted another selfie of her two children on Friday, celebrating an exciting new chapter in their school lives.
She posted a photo of River and Sierra as they prepared to start fourth and second grade, respectively.
The two siblings assisted in the assembly of black chalkboards colorfully painted with the words “first day of second grade” and “first day of fourth grade” written on them.
“All right, kids!!! “2nd and 4th grades, and a brand new River haircut (thank you dude for trusting me with sheers) LET’S DO THIS,” the actress wrote in the post.
Fans exclaimed over the lovely couple in the comments section, wishing them luck on their first day back to school.
