Cote de Pablo, well known for her role as Ziva David on NCIS, battled concerns during her audition, but her skill shined through, resulting in an amazing performance.
Joining in 2005 and leaving in 2013, her departure marked the end of an era for many fans. Despite initial skepticism, de Pablo’s chemistry with Michael Weatherly convinced show bosses of her suitability for the role.
NCIS founder Donald P. Bellisario was originally skeptical, but de Pablo’s audition won over the team. Her portrayal of Ziva took some time to win over admirers, particularly with her relationship with Tony.
Fans were devastated when de Pablo left the show in 2013, but her surprise return in 2019 for Season 17 provided closure to Ziva’s character arc.
Her departure also caused other lead performers to leave the show, emphasizing her importance to the series.
