NCIS’ 1000th episode will bring back a fan-favorite character to the program, and a set shot confirms their appearance.
The 1000th episode of NCIS will include the return of a fan favorite character. The long-running CBS franchise is celebrating a milestone episode, and rather than a massive crossover, the series will focus on its main show. As previously announced, the special will run as NCIS season 21, episode 7, on April 15. Leon Vance, the long-time NCIS director, will be the focus of the story.
Tobias Fornell, played by Joe Spano, will return for NCIS’ 1000th episode, according to a new set photo posted on Instagram by Shelby Flannery.
While Special Agent Alden Parker and his team are unquestionably well-equipped to get Vance out of danger, it doesn’t hurt to enlist the assistance of long-standing allies. The image from Flannery depicts the NCIS cast smiling in a behind-the-scenes photo.
