After his surprising visit in NCIS season 21, Michael Weatherly may have hinted at an on-screen reunion between Tony DiNozzo and Ziva David. After nearly a decade, the actor reprised his legendary “Very Special Agent” role for Ducky’s memorial episode. DiNozzo makes an appearance at the end of NCIS season 21, episode 2, “The Stories We Leave Behind,” although he could return in the future.
Beyond that, Weatherly’s recent tweet on X (previously Twitter) has fueled speculation that an on-screen NCIS reunion between Ziva and DiNozzo is in the works. Look at his post below:
