Tom Selleck is enjoying a slower pace of life with wife Jillie Mack now that Blue Bloods has ended after 14 seasons. “He’s slowed way down since the show wrapped, which has been an adjustment, but thankfully Jillie keeps his spirits up,” an insider tells Closer. “She’s thrilled to have him home more, and they’re enjoying long walks and cozy evenings together.”
Despite stepping back from the long-running series, Tom, 80, is clear his career isn’t over. He and Jillie have been reading scripts for potential new projects, and according to IMDb, he’s set to appear in an “Untitled Jesse Stone Project,” currently in development.
Fans have long hoped for a return to the franchise, and the upcoming 10th film is highly anticipated.
Tom has also addressed fan questions about a possible Blue Bloods spinoff with Frank Reagan, noting he’s open to it but would prefer more Jesse Stone projects. The couple is even exploring producing something together, which would give Tom greater control over his work.
At home, Jillie focuses on Tom’s health, overseeing physio sessions, healthy meals, and overall wellness-though he still sneaks in occasional McDonald’s trips. He’s keeping active riding his ATV and savoring the slower pace, enjoying quality time with Jillie.
