Fans of ‘Blue Bloods’ Are Concerned About One Major Omission in the Season Finale

The Blue Bloods season 13 finale has arrived, and the show promises plenty of surprises. (Don’t worry, season 14 has already been announced!)

This is how CBS describes the final episode, “Forgive Us Our Trespasses”: “Danny and Baez join forces with Danny’s old partner, Jackie Curatola (Jennifer Esposito), to track down a copycat k1ller who is imitating murd3rs from a previous case.” Also, Frank and Mayor Chase (Dylan Walsh) spar over how to best deal with the city’s growing homeless population, and Jamie, Eddie, and Erin band together to gather evidence against a previously released man who they believe is committing cr1minal assault once more.”

Some fan-favorite cast members will return for the episode, according to followers of the show’s official Instagram account. They displayed a slideshow of images with the caption, “It’s #BlueBloods season finale Friday! TONIGHT at 10/9c on #CBS and streaming on #ParamountPlus, join us and our very special guests. “We’ve saved you a seat.”

Jennifer plays Jackie, Sami Gayle plays Nicky, and Tony Terraciano plays Jack. Jackie left the show in season 2, Nicky left in season 11, and Jack last appeared in season 12’s first episode. Fans should be thrilled to see three beloved characters return, right?

Some, specifically Joe Hill, are demanding even more! They wrote things like:

“With Jack and Nikki at the table, why couldn’t you bring Joe back?” He hasn’t even met his cousins! Why bring in a family member and not use him?”

“Rather than the meaningless Jack Boyle, it would have been better to bring in Joe Hill.”

“We said we wanted all the grandchildren, not just bringing them and exiling Joe!!!” That never appealed to me.”

“They brought everyone but forgot to bring grandson Joe, I don’t know what to say!!!!!!”

“Where has Joe Hill gone?” I’m so disappointed!but I can’t wait for the conclusion!👏❤️”

Joe, played by Will Hochman, has appeared on 14 episodes of the show, the most recent in February. When the show returns for season 14, hopefully we’ll see more of him.
