In response to the tragic news that Blue Bloods will be ending after its 14th season, Donnie Wahlberg, best known for his role as Detective Danny Reagan, thanked his faithful fans, notably the Blockheads, who were admirers of his boy band roots in New Kids on the Block.

As “Save Blue Bloods” trended across social media, Wahlberg and his co-stars took to Twitter to convey their appreciation. In a heartfelt video message, Wahlberg acknowledged the Blockheads’ unwavering support, emphasizing their impactful efforts in rallying for the show’s continuation.

Joined by the Blue Bloods cast and crew, including Tom Selleck, Will Estes, and Bridget Moynahan, Wahlberg delivered a collective “Thank you, Blockheads!” to express his gratitude to the fans.

While CBS cites financial constraints as the reason for the show’s cancellation, the fervent push from fans raises hopes for a potential revival. With part one of season 14 currently airing on Fridays, fans eagerly anticipate the forthcoming conclusion in the fall.

Despite the uncertainty, Wahlberg’s acknowledgement of fan support provides a ray of optimism for the beloved police drama’s future.
