Blue Bloods Season 14 is Here.. – Here is What Happened!

When Blue Bloods debuted on CBS in 2010, its mix of police procedural and family drama looked destined for success, but it was unclear how long its basic concept would last.

Following the Reagans, an Irish-American family with all members working in law enforcement.

The series aimed to focus on the role each character plays in pursuing justice-from beat officer to prosecutor-and examine their differences over a weekly family meal.

13 years later, it’s safe to say that it had a lot of potential. Season 13 wrapped up in May 2023, with 5.78 million viewers coming in for the finale, which included the return of both serial k1ller Dr. Walker and Jennifer Esposito as investigator Jackie Curatola.

That episode concluded with the offender fleeing, leaving at least one storyline unsolved.

Is Blue Bloods Making A Comeback..?

Blue Bloods was renewed for a fourteenth season in March 2023, so fans can expect at least one more year with the Reagans. Although plans for seasons beyond 14 have yet to be revealed, series star Tom Selleck has voiced his desire for more.

I don’t believe there is an end point, he stated. I believe there is a lot of life in the program, as long as you allow your characters to grow and mature.

Who Will Be Returning To The Cast?

Tom Selleck will resume his role as Frank Reagan, the family patriarch and police commissioner. Donnie Wahlberg will reprise his role as Detective Danny Reagan, while Bridget Moynahan will play ADA Erin Reagan. Will Estes will reprise his role as Jamie Reagan, Len Cariou as Henry Reagan, Marisa Ramirez as Maria Baez, and Vanessa Ray as Eddie Janko-Reagan in Season 14.

  3. Fire who ever is in charge of programming for CBS .There are plenty of other shows that have been on for years some longer than Blue Bloods. As long as Tom and the rest of the cast are willing to stay why would you take a show off with such a great following ? There are many like me who have never missed an episode and look forward to Friday nights. We all feel like they are part of our family. The stories are great you have your good police dramas and your close family ties its like two shows in one.It has a great supporting cast like the dream team we all love them to they are very important to the show. How many actors in other shows took a cut in pay plus the behind the scenes people to keep a show on ? I bet not many if any. Has someone got a personal reason for not wanting to keep this show on the air ? Every year we know what shows will be on except we always have to wait until the last minute to find out about Blue Bloods something stinks about this and I have wondered about it for a long time.KEEP BLUE BLOODS ON FIRE WHO DOESN’T WANT TO !!!!!!

  7. Keep ‘m coming! Can’t wait for the new episodes. I’ve been filling in the hole with episodes from past year’s on re-run channels as far back as all the kids and grand kids and now missing family membersvjoining Frank for dinner.

  8. Have always loved the show! Have several immediate family members in law enforcement and we’re very seldom able to get together for Thanksgiving, Christmas, Easter, etc. because of conflicting schedules. Always marveled at how every single Reagan was able to be present for Sunday dinners! I know this was a favorite spot on the show each week, but come on!!! Only on TV!!! Looking forward to this season!
