A special episode of CBS’s hit series Blue Bloods will run this Friday, March 1 at 10/9c, to honor the memories of the late Treat Williams.
Williams, known for his role as Lenny Ross, a former NYPD detective and close friend of police commissioner Frank Reagan, made a significant impact on the show. His character, Lenny, revealed his battle with cancer stemming from his heroic actions during 9/11, adding depth to the storyline.
Tragically, Williams died of a motorbike accident at the age of 71, just a month after his final appearance on the show.
In the upcoming episode titled “Fear No Evil,” Frank struggles with the loss of his best friend while navigating how to support Lenny’s daughter, Tess, during her difficult times.
Aside from the moving tribute to Williams, the episode promises explosive storylines as Jaime and Joe race to save a trafficked victim as Danny and Erin disagree on investigative tactics.
The circumstances of Williams’ passing remain under legal scrutiny, with the driver involved in the accident facing charges. A hearing is scheduled for March to determine the outcome.
Don’t miss this heartfelt homage to a beloved actor on Blue Bloods this Friday.
