In the majority of episodes, Frank (Tom Selleck) and Henry (Len Cariou) are on the same page.
However, in the most recent episode of Blue Bloods, father and son were battling because Henry has a money secret and Frank is desperate to get the truth.
‘Blue Bloods’: Frank Uncovers Henry’s Long-Held Secret
In the episode “Spilling Secrets,” Frank meets with his CPA about his taxes and senses she’s hiding something. She eventually reveals that Henry has been donating money for years.
When Frank confronts Henry, he refuses to explain, calling it confidential. Frank then asks Abigail, Garrett, and Sid to investigate the recipient, who turns out to be a man injured in a questionable police shooting decades ago.
Henry had ordered the stop that led to the shooting. Though a gun was reportedly seen, it was never recovered. The man ended up paralyzed and has since passed away, but Henry still sends money—believing the victim’s family is receiving it-as an act of ongoing remorse.
The episode ends with Frank reflecting on his own regrets. He offers his staff the chance to leave with a glowing recommendation, but they all choose to stay.
The Reagans Reveal Another Family Secret
Though close, the Reagans often don’t fully understand each other. That became clear in Season 10 when they discovered Joe Reagan had a son he never knew about-Joe Hill (Will Hochman), now a police officer.
Joe was found through a DNA test and welcomed by the family, though his protective mother preferred he remain a “Hill.” In Season 11, the secret got out, leading Joe to skip family dinners to avoid the fallout.
While it’s unclear when Joe will return, his story isn’t over-and more Reagan secrets may still be waiting to surface.
