Discuss March Madness! Blue Bloods fans have had a string of frustrating Friday nights. Unfortunately, that streak will not be broken this week: there will be no new Blue Bloods episode on March 24 due to the NCAA men’s basketball tournament.

CBS will continue to broadcast the Sweet 16 on Friday night. But all is not lost: A new episode will be released in less than a week.

“The Naked Truth,” the next episode, will premiere on March 31. “Jamie and Eddie find themselves at odds when Jamie discovers that Eddie’s close friend Tracey (Alysha Umphress) may be using the restaurant she owns as a drug front.”

When Erin is accused of causing the suicide of a former colleague, she forms an alliance with Anthony and her ex-husband, Jack Boyle (Peter Hermann); Frank considers firing a female officer who has an online profile featuring naked photos of herself; and Danny and Baez try not to be influenced by their own biases when confronted with different descriptions of the same suspect.”

Donnie Wahlberg, who plays Danny Reagan on the police drama, entertained his followers on Instagram with a humorous video.

On set, he may be seen with his co-star, Marisa Ramirez, who plays his partner, Maria Baez.

“Another day of making TV Magic, on the set of #BlueBloods, with Reagan & Baez aka Danny and Maria aka #Daez!” Dannie captioned the video. We’ll be back with another episode shortly! @marisachicaramirez @cbstv @bluebloods_cbs.” “When you say soon…,” “I hate the weeks Blue Bloods is not on!” and “Patiently waiting for the next episode,” fans wrote in the comments section.

Others expressed concern over the show’s future, writing, “I heard Blue Bloods isn’t being renewed?” There’s no reason to be concerned just yet! CBS has not made an official announcement about the show’s future, but the news didn’t come until the end of April last year, so we’re hoping for an announcement in the coming weeks.

  1. It is one of the better T.V. shows to watch. At least for this older person who looks forward to her Friday night entertainment. Maybe the Networks should consider doing away with “The Big Band Theory” that plays severl times a day and replace it with Blue Bloods. That is my take on the situation.
