Patrick Muldoon, best known for his roles in Days of Our Lives, Melrose Place, and Starship Troopers, has died at the age of 57.
His manager confirmed that the actor passed away suddenly on April 19 following a heart attack.
Muldoon first gained fame as Austin Reed on Days of Our Lives, a role he played from 1992 to 1995 before briefly returning in 2011. He later appeared as Richard Hart on Melrose Place and had additional roles in shows like Saved by the Bell. On the big screen, he was known for playing Zander Barcalow in the 1997 cult classic Starship Troopers.
Shortly before his passing, Muldoon had shared his excitement about working as a producer on an upcoming film project being shot in Australia. His latest movie, the cr1me thriller Dirty Hands, is set for release soon.
In addition to acting, Muldoon explored music, releasing singles such as “I Believe” and “Gray Again.”

He is survived by his partner, Miriam Rothbart, as well as his parents, sister, and extended family. Muldoon is remembered for his decades-long career in television and film, as well as his passion for creative work.
