Where Did Tony Terraciano Go After Blue Bloods?

After over a decade on the air, much has changed on Blue Bloods, especially seeing the Reagan children grow up. Jack Reagan (Tony Terraciano) has been there since the pilot episode as one of Danny’s (Donnie Wahlberg) two sons. He was only 10 when the show debuted, and audiences watched him grow up. Jack went off to college in the 2018 episode “Thicker Than Water” and has appeared only occasionally since then.

Terraciano followed in Jack’s footsteps. In 2018, he began attending Vanderbilt University in Nashville, Tennessee, where he was on the lacrosse team. He is now in medical school at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine in the Bronx, New York.

Despite his studies, Terraciano hasn’t let go of acting entirely. His LinkedIn still lists him as a professional actor for CBS Television Studios in a part-time capacity. Being in the Bronx keeps him nearby for any Blue Bloods cameos, though he’s busy with various activities, including neurosurgery and ophthalmology interest groups, and working as a stroke and aneurysm research assistant. The show even mirrored this path by having Jack Reagan mention wanting to become a doctor.

Terraciano has spent most of his life balancing school and acting. In a 2016 CBS News interview, he noted the challenge of juggling both lives: “Sometimes I’ll be at the movie theatre and someone will recognize me and my friends will be like, I always forgot you’re a movie star. I’m like, come on.” Following in the footsteps of actors like Natalie Portman and Emma Watson, Terraciano has already accomplished a lot at a young age.
