Victoria Jones, the 34-year-old daughter of Oscar-winning actor Tommy Lee Jones, died on New Year’s Day in San Francisco, authorities confirmed.
According to the San Francisco Office of the Chief Medical Examiner, Jones died from the toxic effects of cocaine, and her manner of death was ruled an accident.
Police responded to a medical emergency call at the Fairmont San Francisco around 3:14 a.m. on January 1. Jones was found unresponsive on the 14th floor of the hotel and was pronounced dead at the scene.
In a brief statement, her family expressed gratitude for the condolences they have received and asked for privacy during this difficult time.
Jones was the daughter of Tommy Lee Jones and his first wife, Kimberlea Cloughley. In her younger years, she pursued acting and appeared alongside her father in Men in Black II. She also had roles in The Three Burials of Melquiades Estrada and an episode of One Tree Hill.
In recent years, she had several legal issues, including arrests in California in 2025. Court records show she had pleaded not guilty in pending cases before her death.
Her passing marks a tragic loss for her family and those who knew her.
