The Biggest Problem With ‘NCIS’ The Identity Thief Storyline of Timothy McGee

It’s difficult to deny that “NCIS” is a popular television show. The CBS series has done quite well after nineteen years of colorful characters, creative storylines, and brilliant minds.

It’s natural for long-time fans of the show to want to re-watch previous seasons. Fortunately, there are 426 episodes available and multiple streaming services to choose from.

In contrast to the cast of another popular cr1me show, “Cr1m1nal Minds,” much of the original “NCIS” team remains together. Although each season of the series has many memorable moments, Season 8 ensures that audiences will never forget.

The team deals with the Reynosa Cartel in the season’s first episode, “Spider and Fly,” and it puts them in danger. Tony DiNozzo Sr. (Robert Wagner) also made an appearance in an episode this season. However, it has been claimed that Season 8 episode 13 goes too far. Special Agent Timothy McGee is involved in this tense scene (Sean Murray).

The ‘NCIS’ Identity Is Disappointing Thief’s Demise

McGee becomes the v1ct1m of identity theft in the episode “Freedom.” The NCIS agent discovers that he has a $10,000 debt. Someone apparently charged multiple credit cards for inflatable blow-up dolls, video games, and comic books. It appears that a teenager is attempting to spice up his life, which turns out to be true.

Nick Miller (Aramis Knight) is the identity thief, the young son of McGee’s landlord, who swiped her keys, went into McGee’s place, and stole his credit card. When Nick confronts McGee, he explains that he did it solely for McGee’s benefit. He appeared to believe that the agent wasn’t having enough fun in life. I mean, there are ways to have fun without breaking the law, kid.

The episode concludes with McGee, DiNozzo, and Nick excitedly boarding an elevator bound for GameStop. McGee informs Nick that he owes him at least $50 for the minimum fraud charges. Nick, on the other hand, has a bad attitude and says, “Talk to my mom, bro.”

In the end, the ungrateful teen expresses no remorse for his cr1me and receives no punishment. The NCIS agents are forced to live with the fact that Nick amassed $10,000 in fraudulent charges. No way, Jose. The kids should have spent some time in juvie.

How ‘NCIS’ Handled Leroy Gibbs’ Departure
Actor Mark Harmon left the CBS series “NCIS” four episodes into the current season, in one of the most high-profile recent TV departures. Instead of returning to work after being suspended indefinitely, Gibbs chose to stay in Alaska after completing a case.

Special Agent Timothy McGee was suggested to take over as leader. He, however, declined. The job was eventually given to Aldean Parker, an agent who was fired from the FBI for failing to arrest Gibbs (Mark Harmon) (Gary Cole).

It’ll be strange not having Mark Harmon on “NCIS” after 19 years and seasons. Hearing Special Agent Nick Torres (Wilmer Valderrama) say, “This isn’t Gibbs’ team anymore, is it?” hurt.
