Michael Weatherly and Cote de Pablo have reunited as Tony DiNozzo and Ziva David in NCIS: Tony & Ziva, now streaming on Paramount+. The international spinoff follows the former agents years after reuniting with their daughter, Tali (Isla Gie). The first season, consisting of 10 episodes, has become a hit, with nine already available. The finale drops Thursday, October 23 – but will there be more to come?
Has Tony & Ziva Been Renewed?
Not yet. Both Weatherly and de Pablo are open to returning. “We’re just grateful we got to do it,” de Pablo told TV Insider. “If we got the chance again, we’d be thrilled.”
Showrunner John McNamara said he’s focused on finishing the first season: “It’s up to the fans, the subscribers, and ultimately to Paramount and CBS.”
Who Stars in Tony & Ziva?
Alongside Weatherly, de Pablo, and Gie, the cast includes Amita Suman, Maximilian Osinski, Nassima Benchicou, Julian Ovenden, Terence Maynard, Lara Rossi, and James D’Arcy. D’Arcy’s character, Henry, was k1lled in Season 1, so his return seems unlikely.
What’s It About?
The story finds Tony and Ziva co-parenting Tali when Tony’s security company is att4cked. Forced on the run across Europe, they try to uncover who’s targeting them – while testing whether they can trust each other again.
What Could Season 2 Explore?
That depends on how the finale ends, but there’s plenty of room to continue Tony and Ziva’s story.
When Could It Premiere?
It’s too soon to say. A second season will depend on renewal timing and production schedules.
For now, fans will have to wait – but both stars seem ready to keep the NCIS legacy alive.
