NCIS Los Angeles: Actor Eric Christian Olsen Says Goodbye to the Show With Incredible Photo

Eric Christian Olsen, star of NCIS: Los Angeles, took to Instagram to say goodbye to the show’s fans. The show, as you may know, has been canceled and will end after 14 seasons. On the CBS cr1me drama, Olsen plays Marty Deeks.

Olsen is pictured as Deeks. He is dressed as Deeks but is silhouetted in a tunnel with a gun. “What a spectacular journey we all shared,” he wrote in the caption. Fans expressed their gratitude and sh0ck at the show’s cancellation in his comments section.

NCIS: Los Angeles has just completed a crossover with NCIS and NCIS: Hawai’i. There was no word on its cancellation at the time. People appeared to be taken aback by the announcement. CBS announced the news to Entertainment Weekly and other media outlets in statements.

“For 14 seasons, NCIS: Los Angeles has been a stalwart of our lineup with characters who were a joy to watch,” CBS Entertainment president Amy Reisenbach said. “It’s no surprise that this show became a global franchise. The cast, producers, and crew were fantastic Network/Studios partners from the start, and their teamwork, talent, and spirit shone through on screen. We are grateful for their collaboration and remarkable run as members of our CBS family, and we intend to give them the farewell they and their fans deserve.”

“I want to thank both the network and studios for their partnership and support over the years; Shane Brennan for giving us such a great playground; and my partners John P. Kousakis, Frank Military, Kyle Harimoto, and Andrew Bartels for their tireless efforts and collaboration episode after episode,” said R. Scott Gemmill, showrunner of NCIS: Los Angeles.

“Our crew has evolved into a true family, and their hard work and dedication have been critical to our success year after year,” Gemmill said. “My deepest gratitude to the cast members, who have brought our characters to life with their impassioned performances – thank you for your talent, professionalism, and continuous enthusiasm. Thank you also to our devoted viewers who adored our characters and followed their adventures. We are excited to bring the series to a close that is both satisfying and true to these beloved characters.”

PopCulture reports that the NCIS: Los Angeles series finale will air on CBS on Sunday, May 14, at 10 p.m. Eastern, 9 p.m. Central. It will be available for live streaming on Paramount+ and will also be available for streaming after it airs. The series concludes with 322 episodes.
