Michael Weatherly of NCIS Causes A Frenzy As He Celebrates With Castmates ‘Reminiscing’

To commemorate his birthday this week, NCIS star Michael Weatherly shared a touching throwback from his time on Bull.

This week, the former NCIS agent celebrated his 54th birthday with a heartwarming throwback video on Twitter. Michael Weatherly has been reflecting on his time on CBS’s rival drama, Bull, after spending over a decade with Leroy Gibbs (played by Mark Harmon) and his team of investigators.

Michael celebrated his birthday this week with a video of his Bull castmates.

His fans were overjoyed to see him spending time behind the scenes with co-stars Geneva Carr, Jaime Lee Kirchner, and Matt Delapina.

In addition, guest star Joe Tippett appeared as his character Merle Deavers.

“We are reminiscing this birthday week: #thursdaythrowback @BullCBS,” the show’s lead captioned his Twitter post.

Michael confirmed in the video that the cast was in Callisto, the setting for one of the first episodes of the entire series.

Michael’s character Jason Bull returns to Callisto, Texas, the only place where the star lawyer has never won a case, in the fourth episode of season one.

While Bull prepares to face an old rival, his team works against the clock to organize a defense for a young woman facing a drug lawsuit.

The actor’s 469.1k followers were ecstatic to get a behind-the-scenes look at the classic episode that made them fall in love with Bull back in 2016.

They also sent him a lot of messages on his birthday, which was on Friday, July 8.

“I wish you a very Happy Birthday in advance!” replied @angelazulv.

“I hope you have a wonderful day, week, and occasion to celebrate.” Colombian blessings and a big kiss.”

“Happy Birthday Michael, enjoy your day with a glass of wine, good food, friends, and family,” @AussieFan13 said.

“It’s the big day!” Lesley Evans stated “I wish you much laughter, happiness, music, and, of course, cake!” “There must be cake!”

“Have a wonderful birthday, time for cake and wine, and remember to appreciate the finer things in life.” “Enjoy your August vacation abroad,” wrote Phyllis Moucha.

“Hope you have a fantastic day with lots of attention, fun, and presents!” exclaimed Heather Love-Hinton.

“This was a great show,” Ian Craig Edmonds added, “are you coming back as DiNozzo?”

Michael played Agent Anthony ‘Tony DiNozzo’ for 13 years before jumping ship to take on his next role.

However, now that Bull has officially ended after six episodes, rumors about DiNozzo’s possible return in NCIS’s landmark 20th season are flying thick and fast.

CBS has yet to officially announce his return, but more information may be revealed as the show begins production on the first episodes this summer.
