Maria Bello, well known for her role as Special Agent Jack Sloane on the long-running CBS series “NCIS,” just left the show in the middle of the 18th season. Despite a great run of over 400 episodes, Bello’s exit occurred as her three-year contract came to an end.

In an emotional Instagram post, Bello expressed gratitude for her time on the show, citing the commitment and camaraderie she experienced. She also hinted at new projects, including writing and producing a film titled “The Woman King,” starring Viola Davis, and a pilot project based in Haiti.
