Reality TV Legend Kim Woodburn Dies at 83 – Fans Mourn the Feisty Star

British reality TV star Kim Woodburn, best known for co-hosting How Clean Is Your House?, has died at age 83. Her manager confirmed to BBC News that she passed away Monday following a short illness.

“Kim was incredibly kind, caring, charismatic, and strong,” her manager said. “Her husband Peter is heartbroken at the loss of his soulmate.” A request was made for privacy as her loved ones grieve.

Peter honored his wife in a heartfelt Instagram tribute on Tuesday, writing, “My wonderful, beautiful Kim passed away last night. God bless, my love.”

Her exact cause of death has not been confirmed, but a March Instagram post revealed she had been facing health issues.

Born in Hampshire, Woodburn moved to Liverpool at 16 and worked as a live-in cleaner. She spoke candidly over the years about her troubled childhood and personal loss, including the stillbirth of her son in her 20s.

Woodburn rose to fame on How Clean Is Your House?, which aired from 2003 to 2009, cleaning homes alongside co-host Aggie MacKenzie. Known as the “Queen of Clean,” she later appeared on Celebrity Big Brother in 2017 and I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! in 2009, where she finished as runner-up.

Woodburn was married twice. Her first marriage ended in 1975. She later married Peter in 1979, and the two lived together in Nantwich, Cheshire.
