Harm’s Way Guitarist Bo Lueders Dies Tragically at 38, Leaving Fans in Shock

Bo Lueders, guitarist for the hardcore band Harm’s Way, has died at the age of 38.

The band confirmed the news in an emotional statement, remembering Lueders for his compassion, empathy, and unforgettable presence both on and off the stage. While no official cause of death was shared, the group encouraged anyone struggling with mental health to seek support.

A GoFundMe campaign organized by his “HardLore” podcast co-host Colin Young has been set up to help support Lueders’ loved ones with memorial expenses.

Born Bohan Daniel Lueders in November 1987, he co-founded Harm’s Way in 2006. What began as a side project eventually grew into a full-time band, releasing multiple albums and EPs, including Human Carrying Capacity, Become a Machine, and Call My Name.

In 2022, Lueders also co-launched the HardLore podcast, where he shared insights into the hardcore, punk, and metal music scenes.

Lueders is remembered by fans and peers as a deeply respected figure in the music community, whose influence extended far beyond his performances.
