Why Donnie Wahlberg Doesn’t Want ‘Blue Bloods’ to End..?

The long-running police drama “Blue Bloods” shows no signs of slowing down, and one of the main reasons is the cast’s delight of working together. Actors Donnie Wahlberg and Tom Selleck have voiced a desire for the show to continue.

Wahlberg, who plays Detective Danny Reagan, highlighted the close-knit atmosphere on set, calling the cast a “family.” He enjoys collaborating with his fellow actors, particularly Selleck who portrays his on-screen father, Commissioner Frank Reagan.

Wahlberg acknowledged one challenge: obtaining enough screen time with everyone. He’d like additional chances to work with his “Wonderful” co-stars, Bridget Moynahan (Erin Reagan) and Will Estes (Jamie Reagan).

Selleck shares Wahlberg’s sentiment. He believes there’s “a lot of life in the show” and sees potential for character growth. The veteran actor feels a strong connection with his TV offspring, with Moynahan even playfully referring to him as “dad” in an interview.

With a solid cast and dedicated stars, “Blue Bloods” appears to be on track to keep audiences entertained for many more seasons.
