Blue Bloods star Tom Selleck and the Cast Took Significant Pay Cut to Make Season 14 Happen

CBS has renewed ‘Blue Bloods’ for a 14th season following extensive negotiations.

The announcement was delayed as the cast, including Tom Selleck, negotiated salary concessions of up to 25% to accommodate financial constraints.

Despite the difficulties, the entire cast and crew have agreed to the terms, insuring the continuance of the beloved show.

CBS Entertainment President Amy Reisenbach acknowledged her enthusiasm for the show’s sustained success and value to the network’s roster.

‘Blue Bloods’ has been a ratings juggernaut on Friday nights since its premiere in 2010, and it remains a top performer in primetime.

According to CBS Entertainment, the series has been the top show on Friday nights since its debut in 2010. It is also the third highest rated drama in primetime. Each episode attracts over 11 million viewers.
