For the NCIS franchise, which is expanding globally with its latest upcoming spin-off, one door closes and another opens.
According to reports, filming for NCIS: Sydney, the franchise’s first foray outside of America, is already underway, and the series will premiere soon.

What is the plot of NCIS: Sydney?
NCIS: Sydney, like previous installments of the franchise, follows a group of daring special agents from the Naval Cr1minal Investigative Services as they solve cr1mes while also exploring their interpersonal relationships.
Beverley McGarvey, Chief Content Officer and Executive Vice President, ViacomCBS Australia and New Zealand, told TV Tonight, “It is such a privilege to be able to continue the legacy of such a wonderful show and incorporate superior NCIS storytelling while introducing new Australian characters and locations.”
NCIS: Sydney is produced by who?
ViacomCBS, Network 10 Australia, and Paramount Plus Australia reached an agreement to bring the show to international markets.
Furthermore, NCIS: Los Angeles creator Shane Brennan, who is Australian, is attached to the project and will direct this iteration as well.
Will NCIS: Sydney be available in the United States?
Yes, as of now! The spin-off will air on Network 10 in Australia, and will be available to watch globally on Paramount Plus Australia.
In the United States, CBS will broadcast the show alongside the main franchise and another spin-off, NCIS: Hawai’i.
When will NCIS: Sydney debut?
The show’s premiere date has yet to be determined, but the network stated in its announcement that it will air in 2023.
When will NCIS: Los Angeles come to an end?
Meanwhile, the show’s longest-running spin-off, NCIS: LA, will end its 14-season run later this month.
NCIS: LA will air a two-part finale in May, the penultimate episode on May 14 and the final episode on May 21, with the latter also featuring a finale send-off to air right after the final episode.
