NCIS just hit a huge milestone – and Wilmer Valderrama is celebrating right along with fans.
The long-running CBS drama, which first premiered in 2003, has officially been renewed for Season 24, the network confirmed on January 22. The announcement also included renewals for spinoffs NCIS: Sydney (Season 4) and NCIS: Origins (Season 3), proving the franchise is still going strong.
Valderrama, who plays Special Agent Nick Torres, shared the excitement on Instagram after learning the news with his castmates.
“We’ll be back for a Season 24!!! 🎉” he wrote, alongside a video of the cast reacting to the renewal. He also reminded fans that new episodes are just around the corner:
“NCIS returns March 3 at 8PM ET/PT on CBS and streaming on Paramount+.”
Fans flooded the comments with celebration, calling the renewal “the best news” and cheering for another season with the team.
The update comes shortly after viewers learned Season 23’s midseason return was delayed by a week due to the State of the Union broadcast. But now, the wait feels easier knowing the future of NCIS is secure.
After more than two decades on the air, the series continues to prove it’s not slowing down – and Season 24 means plenty more cases, drama, and team moments ahead.
